New Fracking Rules Call for Disclosures

Companies will now have to disclose the chemicals used for fracking on more than 750 million acres of federal and tribal lands. Firms will also have to keep new wells from interfering with current operations to avoid spills or blowouts, US News & World Reports said. There are currently more than 90,000 fracking operations that would be affected by the new requirements.
