Mesh Networks Empower Shift to IoT for Plants

As manufacturing facilities shift to more connected technologies, some plants are encountering environmental challenges that can be overcome by the adoption of mesh networking architectures. According Joy Weiss, president of Linear Technology’s Dust Networks product group, mesh networks can add redundancy to in-plant connections that boost security, and tackle frequency interference problems and power limitation in older facilities.
