Hardware Hackers Target Electronics OEMs

The multinational nature of hardware hacking means that OEMs in the electronics industry must be especially cautious about securing their global supply chain. If not, they risk hackers corrupting pieces that they include in numerous products that are then shipped around the world. “They want to know, before they plug a board into their product, how do they know that nothing has been hacked,” says a security expert.
